This letter pad features premium Echizen washi paper with a subtle watermark pattern of gypsophila (baby's breath) across the page. If you place a sheet of colored paper behind it, the watermarks become clearly visible without being distracting. Located near the west coast of central Japan, the city of Echizen is home to one of the oldest and most respected paper-making industries in all of Japan.
