2026 West Coast Flipping Championship

What is WCFC?

WCFC, West Coast Flipping Championship, is a balisong/butterfly knife flipping tournament held annually at Blade Show West. The competition features 32 flippers in a head-to-head live blade showdown for wicked sick prizes and massive bragging rights.

WCFC returns for its 6th annual competition at Blade Show West this year. The event will be in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Salt Palace Convention Center on Saturday, October 10th, 2026.

Join us for the most exciting butterfly knife (balisong) flipping competition of the year. All audience members will have a chance to win amazing prizes! We will also have a merch table, raffle, photo area, and more fun activities! WCFC is free to watch for all Saturday Blade Show West ticket holders.

WCFC 2026 Details: Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at Blade Show West located at Salt Palace Convention Center in Hall 3 at 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Doors open at 2:00 PM.

Compete in West Coast Flipping Championship (WCFC) 2026

West Coast Flipping Championship will feature 32 flippers in total. There are 32 spots available for online pre-registration. Walk-in spots available based on can cancelations which will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at the beginning of Blade Show West at the Squid Industries Booth. We will accept walk-ins up until Saturday, October 110h 2:00 pm or until all the spots are filled.

 

We highly recommend to register in advance if you wish to secure a spot to compete. Registration for WCFC 2026 is $30. All competitors must have a valid Saturday Blade Show West ticket to compete. Registration will be closed when all the spots are filled. 

WCFC 2026 Prizes

1st Place: 3 Exclusive Balisongs from Sponsors, Competitor Swag Bag with merch from all sponsors

2nd Place: 2 Exclusive Balisongs from Sponsors, Competitor Swag Bag with merch from all sponsors

3rd Place: 1 Exclusive Balisong from Sponsors, Competitor Swag Bag with merch from all sponsors

All Competitors will receive a WCFC 2026 swag bag full of goodies from all the sponsors.

WCFC 2026 Competition Rules

1. Live blades only (no trainers)
2. No additional props (blindfolds, lights, etc.)
3. No closing, covering, or obstructing vision in any way.
4. One balisong only. No doubles.
5. No oversized balisongs or baliswords
6. No Acrobatic activities (cartwheel, back flips, front tuck, etc.)

WCFC Registration is 2 step process:

Step 1: Purchase a ticket by clicking the Registration button below.

Step 2: After purchasing a ticket, you will receive an email with a form to finish the registration. You must complete the form to be officially registered. If you do not receive an email within 24-48 business hours, please check your spam folder or email us through our Contact Page
