Scot Matsuoka learned at the hands of one of the best in the industry and we are very excited to bring you his work. He is a talented part-time custom maker from Hawaii that began making knives at the age of nine. Ken Onion showed him the ropes of grinding fixed blades and eventually engineering folders, and he's really come into his own now. His designs are organic, ergonomic, sleek, tactical, and extremely fun to play with. Scot utilizes the IKBS system for buttery smooth deployment and the Hinderer lockbar stabilizer for strength and durability. The handle is comfortable with an adequate choil to protect your fingers and jimping on the thumb ramp. The drop point blade is made from Rob Thomas stainless Typhoon Damascus with an unsharpened false edge. The pivot is adjustable with a torx screw and it comes smooth yet still locks up nice and solidly. This is a knife you will be proud to pass down to future generations.
