The three-step grinding process is designed to remove even the smallest "burrs". We wanted to achieve a smooth and sharp finish as if a craftsman had used a lathe sharpener. The Sharpener has a disk-shaped grinding stone that is inclined to strike the knife at the optimum angle. *Not for use with single-edged kitchen knives, bread knives, freezing knives, or knives other than kitchen knives.
