Boker Solingen 1969 Mach-1 Damasteel Liner Lock Folding Knife

 Boker captures the unmistakable design language of the 1969 Mustang Mach-1 and brings the legend to life in the 1969 Mach-1 Damast. Authentic components from the wheel hub, wishbone, and suspension were incorporated into the blade material itself. The fine 84-layer Damascus blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols in the Wavepool pattern, reflects both motion and mechanical heritage. The ball-bearing supported blade, with its distinctive ricasso, opens smoothly via a removable thumb stud. Powerful torque from the handle design, combined with a robust stainless steel liner lock, ensures confident and secure operation.

Finger recesses in the handle, crafted from lightweight yet high-strength aluminum, evoke the muscular wings of the iconic car. A gold-colored inlay on the front handle scale echoes the side trim of the Mustang’s doors and bodywork. Finished in Silver Jade, the handle accentuates the knife’s sporty character and delivers a tactile sensation reminiscent of a V8’s pulse. The sloping spine of the handle mirrors the fastback silhouette of the Mach-1, while the intricately detailed pivot screw brings the forward drive of spinning wheels to life. The straight, angular stainless steel pocket clip, milled from solid material, recalls the classic door handles of the Ford Mustang.

Handcrafted in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, the knife is presented in a high-quality floating display, complete with a sense of poised impatience and unmistakable nonchalance.
