As a tribute to Viele, Spyderco rekindled this classic model as a limited-edition Sprint Run, featuring a hollow-ground VG-10 blade, full titanium liners, contoured red G-10 scales, and a right-side, tip-up pocket clip. Like all Viele designs, it also proudly includes his signature pattern of three holes near the spine of the blade.

The late Howard Viele was an exceptional custom knifemaker with a style all his own. One of his most distinctive collaborations with Spyderco was the Phoenix, a dynamic folding knife design that showcased our patented Ball Bearing Lock.
