With the expiration of the Benchmade AXIS-Lock patent, it seemed like the perfect time for TRM to try out a new locking mechanism.
So the team has introduced the River-Lok for the new Shadow. They even include an extra set of custom designed & manufactured springs with your order!
Consistent with many of Three Rivers models, the Shadow features a .090” thick CPM 20CV powdered metal steel blade for its renowned corrosion resistance and edge retention. Of course, the 3.2” blade edge is razor sharp right out of the box. This knife was made to be USED!
TRM tries to add a special detail for every model. Besides introducing the River-Lok, they decided to machine removable tabs to fill the space milled on both sides for the deep pocket carry clip. Due to the more complex construction of the Shadow, scales are not going to be easily changeable.
TRM manufactures and assembles all knives in the USA utilizing US materials and suppliers. "USA" is proudly etched on every blade.
