We can water dip test (not completely fill) your pen before it ships to make sure it is smooth as possible if you ask at checkout. Otherwise if is factory sealed we keep it factory sealed.

The barrel is made of high-quality resin; the clip and the rings are 24 carat gold-plated, and the nib is made of 14 carat gold with a rhodium trim and available with a Fine, Medium or Broad point.
