The pilot vanishing point is absolutely the best purchase for the price. You won’t find a gold nib pen at a better price point. Remember these are Japanese nibs so they run a little smaller personally I like to write with a wet pen and I find a broad point to be perfect

Vanishing amazing point
I tried this out at the store and was very impressed. Decided to give it a chance. Writes very smooth. Best part is the nib retraction keeps the ink ready for the next time.
