Visconti was inspired by ancient Greece for the creation of the Michelangelo collection, this line has an extremely elegant and very complex shape, and represents a must-have of fountain pen art. Thanks to our technicians and a new technology invented by us, we were able to create a faceted shape composed of 36 sides (inside the cap and the barrel), tapered at both ends. Michelangelo is probably the first pen made with 36 faces that makes it look more like a diamond than a writing object: the value of a diamond, after carat weighing, is in fact due to the quality of the cut and the number of faces.
