We can water dip test (not completely fill) your pen before it ships to make sure it is smooth as possible if you ask at checkout. Otherwise if is factory sealed we keep it factory sealed.
The barrel and cap are made of 18 facets, a shape used for the first time in Visconti designs. The 18 facets bring even more elegance and luminosity to the intense and deep shades of the Van Gogh pen. All the metal parts of the pen are made in brass and then palladium plated. The pen's box comes with a picture of the Van Gogh painting it is dedicated too.
