The knife is high-end automatic with Damascus blade, citrine in the button, safety and wood-inlaid handle. The blade is sharp and has no play. The firing is smooth. Each knife is numbered on the box from a series of 250. The blade shows the model number, although I would prefer a more common serial number. The wooden box and leather sheath makes it more of a jewelry piece than your standard EDC and takes up a sizable part of the price. It is the ultimate gentlemen's knife if you have the money. Why not 5 stars? It is too lightweight to my liking, the lanyard is just a decoration rather than the real one, and the inlay is dull. The picture on the William Henry site shows a warm, reddish, beautiful ironwood color. What you get is different (brownish dark and dull color). Some sites show it with their real models, some use the original. Of course, the wood color and quality cannot be guaranteed and gives you a sense of uniqueness, but for this price it could be more consistent.
